Ronnie Fieg Confirms Sixteen Different Nike Collaborations In 2027

Ronnie Fieg has something appropriately massive planned for Kith’s 16th anniversary: sixteen Nike collaborations.

Speaking with Complex, the Kith founder revealed plans for a sprawling Nike collaboration in 2027 dubbed “Sweet 16,” encompassing sixteen of Fieg’s favorite silhouettes from the Swoosh. The concept carries some personal significance; inspired by his daughters and the idea of creating something for the future, Fieg landed on “Sweet 16,”  a play on the milestone traditionally celebrated by girls.

Exactly which sixteen sneakers made the cut remains a mystery. Fieg didn’t reveal the lineup, leaving plenty of room for speculation given his extensive history with Nike. The Air Force 1 feels like a particularly safe bet considering Fieg’s longstanding relationship with the silhouette. Beyond that, 2027 presents some interesting possibilities from the Nike archive. Both the Air Foamposite One and Air Max 97 celebrate their 30th anniversaries next year, making them intriguing candidates, although there’s currently nothing confirming either shoe’s involvement.

In a tweet just over a year ago, Ronnie himself jotted down his ten favorite Nike silhouettes of all-time; this, of course, doesn’t confirm anything, but is easily the biggest hint towards what could be part of this Kith x Nike “Sweet 16” Collection.

Whatever Fieg has selected, sixteen different Nike collaborations arriving within a single anniversary project would make “Sweet 16” one of Kith’s most ambitious footwear initiatives to date and easily the largest project ever with the Swoosh.
