adidas has released perhaps its most beautiful Samba Mule yet.
But we can't give all the credit to the sportswear brand, as this impressive Samba Mule was a collaborative effort. The Indian sneaker store VegNonVeg helped designed the shoe.
The brand basically put a classic Indian spin on the Samba, rethinking the soccer shoe as a traditional embellished flat called the Jutti. As a result, we got a slip-on Samba sneaker with luxe leather uppers, gilded branding moments, and intricate floral embroidery.
There have been other nice-looking Samba mules, including summery woven iterations and fluffy UGG-level slippers. But VegNonVeg's laceless, backless pairs are extra special. They're straight from India and made with love.
The shoes have already sold out at VegNonVeg (no surprises there). But good news: they're currently available on atmos Tokyo and Mita Sneakers' websites for ¥22,000, or around $140.
