Nike has been bringing back the Air Force 1 ’01 in 2026. The model recreates the proportions of the early-2000s version, including a slimmer toe box and thicker leather upper. That gives the shoe a different appearance from the standard Air Force 1 Low. For Halloween, Nike Sportswear will debut the “Nightmare” iteration, inspired by the movie Hellraiser.

For the “Nightmare” Nike Air Force 1 Low, the brand takes the Halloween concept directly into the construction. Most of the upper uses Black leather, while Red appears along the edges, stitching, lining, and branding. Small Metallic Silver rivets are placed across the toe box and side panels. The layout makes it look like nails have been punched through the leather.

The design was inspired by vintage horror movie tropes. The metal grid has also drawn obvious comparisons to Pinhead from Hellraiser. However, this is not an official Hellraiser collaboration.
