Vans Old Skool 36 GORE Tex Design
The Old Skool 36 has been on a run, from the “Pearlized” series to the La Habana, Souvenir and Paint Splatter styles. GORE Tex now brings weather protection to the same low profile.
Vans keeps the familiar Old Skool shape and swaps in GORE Tex fabrics for waterproofing and overall durability. The look stays close to the standard pair, so the change is in function more than styling.
The two colorways are olive and black, per the official images. This is not the first time Vans has used the material. The Sk8 Hi MTE 3 took it much further, with a full overhaul toward sneakerboot territory. The Old Skool is a lighter take.
How Is the GORE Tex Version Different From a Standard Old Skool?
The silhouette stays the same. The upper uses GORE Tex fabrics, which add waterproofing and overall durability for colder, wetter weather.
