This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Safari” Carries Olympic Echoes

All eyes are currently on Paris, with footwear fans feasting on headlines like the Westside Gunn Saucony collab, square Air Max 90, and Pharrell Vans controversy. Yet even as Nike gets in on the madness, now the Swoosh’s Paris efforts is delivering on a different front.

In 2024, the brand sought to replicate the “Volt” takeover from a decade before by pinning “Safari” print on their products, from basketball to running, resulting in that association living in our heads indelibly. The Nike Air Force 1 “White/Kumquat,” now revealed via retailer listings, carries that same association even two years after the French showcase. Overall, it’s a simplistic arrangement, founded on white leathers the same way so many previous pairs have been. However, an orange mini Swoosh and that ostrich print on the Swoosh help push this beyond the realm of the ordinary; turtle shell jewel branding on the heels only further adding to the intrigue.
