Nike Kobe AD Protro “Laser Orange” Design
Images show a full length React midsole carrier wrapped around forefoot ZoomX cushioning and a heel Zoom unit, the same performance platform update introduced on the Protro version of the shoe. The “Laser Orange” colorway fades the midsole from a yellow red tone at the forefoot to a darker burnt orange at the heel, with a Swoosh dyed to match the darker end and a uniformly sunny orange tone carried through the laces, tongue and rest of the upper. A molded Kobe logo sits at the heel alongside a stitched signature, with a darker collar lining and a matching warm toned outsole rounding out the design.
Is “Laser Orange” the Kobe AD Protro’s First New Colorway?
Yes, “Laser Orange” is the first entirely new colorway in the Kobe AD Protro’s history. The recent “Purple Stardust” release reissued a royal purple shade that already appeared on the shoe in 2017.
