The Chevy Nike Book 2 collection rolls on with a “Sand Drift” colorway inspired by the Phoenix Suns star’s 1962 Chevy Impala convertible, one of four styles alongside the “Pretty Penny,” “Red Stardust,” and a yet-to-be-seen dark brown pair.
If you caught our coverage of either of the other two colorways, the design follows the same formula. The sneaker features a color-matched “Sand Drift” upper pulled directly from the paint job of the actual car, utilizing the Book 2’s Foamposite-esque molded construction to create a nice glossy effect. The lateral heel features a Metallic Silver emblem lifted straight from the Impala, while black Swooshes provide some welcome contrast.
No release date for the Chevy Nike Book 2 “Sand Drift” has been announced as of this writing, but that should change in the near future. For now, see detailed images below.
