New Balance 983 “Pink/Grey” Design

The New Balance 983 debuted October 1, 2026 in “Shadow Blue”, a glossy leather colorway. The brand is now alternating leather and suede builds across its first colorways.

Pink suede forms the abstract outer paneling. Multiple large cutouts run across the forefoot before the panels taper off near the quarter.

The C shaped side underlays are grey. Underneath, a fishnet style mesh sits over a pale pink base. The midsole is also grey, with light blue ABZORB SBS pods, so it blends into the upper instead of contrasting with it.

How Is It Different From the “Shadow Blue” 983?

The “Shadow Blue” debut is a glossy leather build. The “Pink/Grey” swaps that for pink suede panels over a pale pink mesh base.
