Size? Teases Checkered New Balance 204L Collaboration

Boho-chic is the “it” aesthetic of the summer, anchored by thrifted Coach bags, animal print everything, patchwork jeans, and much, much more. Demonstrating a keen sense of what’s hot, British retailer Size? is giving into the moment with its upcoming New Balance 204L collaboration, teased here on social media ahead of its August 21st release date.

The 204L is itself a product of current trends, blending multiple strains of retro running style into a low-cut silhouette with 2000s-inspired layering. Size?’s pair fits the boho-chic mold effortlessly, led by an olive green and off-white checkered fabric across the toe box and side underlays. Multiple shades of hairy brown suede show up throughout the teaser, alongside two sets of laces meant to be worn together for max texture. We’re immediately reminded of Estudio Niksen’s Saucony Trainer 80 collab from earlier this year, which leaned on that same formula with a plaid tongue, brown suede, and once again, double laces.
