Based on the lightweight, racing-inspired EVO SL, the EXO introduces a new EXOSKELETON upper fit system, adding a supportive exterior structure that gives the shoe an entirely different visual identity. Underfoot, adidas Lightstrike Pro provides lightweight cushioning and energy return, creating a versatile platform capable of handling everything from a morning run and daily commute to a full Saturday of college football.
For the NCAA collection, adidas uses that exoskeletal construction as the canvas for these unmistakable school identities. Tennessee, Washington, Miami, Kansas, Grambling State, Arizona State, Indiana, Louisville, Penn State, NC State, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M each receive their own colorway, complete with school logos on the heel and insole and university-specific lettering running down the tongue.
