adidas’ German Army Trainer Tees Up A “Suede Pack”

The adidas BW Army, otherwise known as the original German Army Trainer, is in the midst of a resurgence comparable to few we’ve seen in the past, continuing to release in new styles while earning laudable reactions from both sneaker and strictly fashion-centric circles.

New to adidas.com is a set of elevated, essential looks, the model forgoing its usual leather foundation in favor of an all-suede build. The end result reads slightly more sophisticated, perhaps more aesthetically aligned with Margiela’s version and others by reputable fashion houses (though we all know adidas is the original creator). “Cinder” and “Halo Brush” colorways are available, both built atop the model’s classic brown gum outsole.
